Morning:

After breakfast at the homestay, explore Banteay Chhmar local market and set off on an ox-cart tour to discover the Banteay Chhmar way of life: visit the Silk Center, rice fields, and stop at farms along the way.

Continue to the Pol Pot Baray (an irrigation dam built by the Khmer Rouge) by kuyon (a type of local tractor).

Afternoon and Evening:

Enjoy a picnic on a wooden platform at the baray and perhaps take a nap in a hammock. Set off back to the homestay and visit beekeeping and cassava farms along the way.

Arrive back at the homestays in the early evening and enjoy the end of the day with your host family. Have dinner with the family and after dinner see a display of how rice is processed following the harvest.
