Karan VillageDay 1

After pick up from your accommodation in the morning, drive to o the famous Hellfire Pass at Sai Yok, a former Australian POW camp. Start by visiting its Memorial Museum, which is jointly run by the Australian and Thai governments. At the museum are a set of superb interactive displays telling the story of the construction of the Death Railway and the cutting through of the pass.

Afterwards, you can walk down the valley through Hellfire Pass cutting and along the sections of the old railway that have been cleared from the surrounding jungle and get an insight into the wartime experiences of the POW’s once based here.After lunch drive to the kayak camp and explore the surrounding countryside and visit Sai Yok Yai National Park. Walk about 6 kms, partly along another stretch of the Death Railway, visit the waterfall and Mon village. June-October dinner and overnight at the rafting camp, November-February dinner and overnight at Rai Na Jone Community Lodge.

Day 2

Bathing the ElephantsAfter breakfast trek through the jungle for about 8 kms to the community of Kui Lawa. After lunch at the village set off on an exciting 9 kms of kayaking down the Rive Kwai. Finish at River Kwai jungle View raft houses for dinner and overnight.

KayakingDay 3

Morning:

After breakfast, set off by kayak for a further 25 kms down the Kwai Noi River. Along the way you will pass by 3 waterfalls, including the famous Sai Yok Yai Waterfall. A stop will also be made for you to enjoy a picnic lunch on the riverbank.


By mid afternoon finish kayaking and return by road to Kanchanaburi town and drop off at your hotel. End of services.
