Your journey continues to Nonthaburi, about 20 kilometers from central Bangkok, where you’ll check into the charming Thai House Homestay, a family-run guesthouse offering comfortable rooms and warm hospitality. After a brief introduction, the hosts will welcome you into a six-hour Thai cooking course, where you’ll discover the secrets of both traditional and modern Thai cuisine in an immersive, hands-on experience.
We will learn to cook:
Tom Yum Koong - Hot and sour prawn soup
Larb Moo - Spicy Thai pork salad (appetizer)
Phad Thai - Thai fried noodle (luncheon dish)
Kaeng Kari Kai - Yellow curry with chicken
Panaeng Neua - Beef curry in peanut sauce
The afternoon is at leisure. Overnight at the Thai House
Early risers can join the local community in offering food to the monk who passes by in his rowing boat around 06:00 as part of the traditional morning alms ritual. After this peaceful and meaningful experience, enjoy a generous Thai breakfast before departing for your return journey. At approximately 09:00, you’ll be driven back to your hotel in Bangkok, enriched by a morning of cultural connection and quiet reflection
