Kanchanaburi Adventure

This 4-day roundtrip combines the best of Kanchanaburi’s history with the unspoiled nature of Saiyok National Park. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure with the Elephants


Day 1 Bangkok – Kanchanaburi (-/L/D)

Pick from Bangkok hotel after breakfast and take the 2 ½-hour drive to Kanchanaburi Town. Visit Don-Rak War Cemetery and then the famous Bridge Over the River Kwai. Take a walk on the bridge and then board the train for a ride on the Death Railway, with stunning views of the river far below.  Disembark from the train and walk across the spectacular Wampo Viaduct. After crossing the viaduct, visit Krasae Cave. Have lunch at a local restaurant and then drive to Hellfire Pass to visit the museum and take a walk through the Hellfire Pass cutting. Day 2 Kanchanaburi – Our Land Nature Reserve (B/L/D)

 After breakfast drive to in Saiyok Yai National Park trek for about 1 ½ hours through the forest along the route of the old Death Railway. At the end of the trek, take a short drive to Saiyok Yai Waterfall, with time for swimming in the pool beneath the falls.  Have lunch at a local restaurant and then visit the Mon village of Pu Takein and learn about the Mon peoples’ culture and way of life. Day 3 Our Land Nature Reserve – Kanchanaburi (B/L/D)

 After breakfast, drive to OurLand for a full day of activities, starting with a fascinating introduction to snakes; learn about and see several species of snakes that are native to Thailand, learn about how they exist in the wild and also what to do in case you get bitten: Basic Snake Bite First Aid. Afterwards learn about the manufacture of mud bricks and how to construct buildings from this sustainable resource. Have lunch at the camp and then have a little time for a final exploration in the forest. Day 4 Kanchanaburi – Bangkok (B/L/-)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Elephant Haven and enjoy a day with the elephants at this sanctuary for retired elephants. There is no riding, no circus tricks, just a caring and natural environment for these magnificent animals. Learn how they are taken care of and about their complex social structure.
