On the islands you will find pristine beaches and waterfalls to explore while you enjoy the abundance of fresh seafood.

Baan Laem Makham is located on a peninsular at the far end of Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard close to the border with Cambodia.  Many of the villagers are fishermen and you may have the opportunity to go out sea with them as they go searching for fish and shellfish.  Red-necked hawks are a common sight in this area. Visit the village temple which contains a folk museum housing antiques from the region and a mural depicting historical events.  A learning centre established by King Rama V contains many interesting old photographs taken by a village wise man many years ago.  During your time in the village you will also have the opportunity to learn about the local wisdom of the community and how they create value from their local resources and at the same time conserve them for the future.
