4 Day Khao Sok National Park Adventure

Day 1: Arrival Khao Sok (-/L/D)

Pick up from your up from your hotel in Phuket, Krabi or Khao Lak at around 08.30 and transfer to the Khao Sok Nature Resort. After check in to your tree house and a delicious lunch in the resort’s restaurant your afternoon is at leisure for optional activities. For example, you can take a short hike through the area or swim in the picturesque small river located directly behind the resort.

The unique nature of the Khao Sok Nature Resort lies in the style of its accommodation. All twelve rooms are real tree houses, built high above the ground. They are however, very comfortable, with 24-hour electricity, shower, toilet and hot water. They have a fan, a mosquito net and of course a fine view from the balcony. 

Day 2: Hike to the National Park (B/L/D)

After breakfast set off with your local guide local guide on an approximately three-hour trek through Khao Sok National Park. The terrain through which you will trek is quite easy and you will be able to pay full attention to the beautiful and fascinating nature that is all around you. You may even get to see the extremely rare "Rafflesia" plant, for Khao Sok is the best place in Thailand in which to find this extraordinary plant. After the hike, you will be driven back to the resort for lunch. In the afternoon, you have the choice between an hour of tubing in the river or an hour of traditional Thai massage. The rest of the afternoon is free to relax and unwind in this beautiful and tranquil setting. Dinner and overnight the resort.

Day 3: Cheow Lan Reservoir (B/L/D)

After breakfast set off to Cheow Lan Reservoir which is about 60 km away in Khao Sok National Park. After arriving at the Rajaphrapha Dam, board one of the famous long-tail boats which you will take you across this huge lake. During the trip you will see the most beautiful limestone karsts rising majestically above the water, have a tasty lunch at a floating restaurant and enjoy a hike with a visit to a cave with beautiful stalactites. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a swim in the clear water of the lake. In the late afternoon return to the resort for dinner and overnight.

Day 4:  A Canoe trip and return to Phuket (B/L/-)

After breakfast take a two-hour canoe trip along the river through the jungle. The river will take you through the lush vegetation of one of the oldest forests on Earth. Return to the resort for lunch and then set off back to Phuket, or Krabi or Khao Lak in the early afternoon.
