Day 1: Arrival Khao Sok

Guests are picked up from their hotel in Phuket, Krabi or Khao Lak around 08:30 and transferred to the Khao Sok Nature Resort. After check-in to a private tree house and lunch at the resort’s restaurant, the afternoon is free for optional activities. Guests can hike through the surrounding rainforest or swim in the scenic river behind the resort. Each of the twelve tree houses is built high above the ground and offers comfort with electricity, hot water, mosquito net, fan and a balcony view.

Day 2: Hike to the National Park

Day 2: Hike to the National Park

The day begins with breakfast at the resort before setting off with your local guide on a three-hour rainforest trek through the lush terrain of Khao Sok National Park, one of Thailand’s most biodiverse protected areas. The trail is relatively easy, allowing you to focus fully on the stunning natural surroundings. With a bit of luck, you may encounter the rare and extraordinary Rafflesia flower, known for its massive bloom and found almost exclusively in this region. After the hike, return to the resort for a well-earned lunch.

In the afternoon, guests can choose between a relaxing hour of Thai massage or a refreshing hour of tubing along the gentle river that winds behind the resort. The rest of the day is yours to unwind, take in the tranquil jungle atmosphere, or simply enjoy the view from your tree house balcony. Dinner is served at the resort’s restaurant, followed by another peaceful overnight stay in your elevated forest retreat.

Day 3: Cheow Lan Reservoir

After breakfast, depart for Cheow Lan Reservoir, located about 60 km from the resort in Khao Sok National Park. Upon arrival at the impressive Rajaphrapha Dam, board a traditional long-tail boat for a scenic journey across the vast lake. Along the way, admire towering limestone karsts that rise dramatically from the water, creating one of Thailand’s most iconic landscapes. Enjoy lunch at a floating restaurant before heading out on a short hike to a cave adorned with striking stalactites. There’s also time for a refreshing swim in the lake’s clear waters. In the late afternoon, return to the resort for dinner and overnight in your tree house.

Day 4:  A Canoe trip and return to Phuket

After breakfast, embark on a peaceful two-hour canoe trip along the river that winds through the dense jungle of Khao Sok National Park. As you glide through the water, you’ll pass through lush vegetation believed to be part of one of the oldest surviving rainforests on Earth. The quiet rhythm of the river and the rich biodiversity around you make this a memorable farewell to nature. After returning to the resort for lunch, you’ll begin your journey back to Phuket, Krabi, or Khao Lak in the early afternoon.
